Queen of Pink Fundraisers

​​The Queen of Pink organization gives financial assistance to breast cancer patients, who reside in the Southwest Louisiana 5 Parish Areas: Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jeff Davis.  A one-time gift of $500 is given to each recipient, which likely goes towards treatment costs and other breast cancer related expenses.  

 

Several fundraisers are held throughout the year to maintain funds. Two of our biggest fundraisers are the annual Queen of Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and now benefit held in Ragley, Louisiana and the annual Queen of Pink Pageant held in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

 

The Queen of Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Benefit is always held on the 1st Saturday in October at the Purple Heart Memorial Park, located in Ragley, La.

  

The Queen of Pink Pageant pageant is always held the 2nd Saturday in June at the Cajun French Music Association building, located in Lake Charles, La  For the pageant, ladies of all ages come together to raise money and compete for the chance to represent the organization for the year as a Queen of Pink queen.  An Ambassador of Pink title is awarded to the contestant with the most donations. In addition, Princess of Pink titles are awarded to contestants with donations of $250 and above.  

 

Another one of fundraisers involves the students of South Beauregard High School, who also hold an annual fundraiser at their school for the Queen of Pink Organization. Over the years, SBHS students, their families, surrounding communities, and Queen of Pink royalty have raised thousands of dollars to benefit breast cancer patients in the local community.

Last but not least, the Queen of Pink Organization hosts several bake sales throughout the year. Each member of the QOP royalty bake homemade goods and sell them at different locations across Southwest Louisiana.
